If possibly you had experienced the menu loss of “Folder Options” in the Tools part in Windows Explorer, this matter is usually caused by the existence of the virus. However, if the virus is removed, but the menu is still missing, then you can restore it by using a few tricks below.
* Select Start-> Run
* Type “regedit” (without the quotes), press enter
*Find the following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
*Double click the “NoFolderOptions”, change the value to be 0 (zero), press enter
* Restart the computer
However, not all these methods were successful because of depending the virus that could use the different method of eliminating the Options Folder menu.
