Sony Ericsson Ready to Update Xperia X10 to Android 2.1

It seems Sony Ericsson has ready to update Xperia X10 to Android 2.1. This update also will include X10 Mini and X10 mini Pro. While the Xperia X10 user until today that uses Android 1.6 Donuts must be patient untill the Android 2.1 come.

Meanwhile, Sony Ericsson Xpersia X10 update will be ready in Q4 2010. Sony Ericsson seems not to be outdone by his rival. Ok, for Xperia X10 users, let’s wait till this October 2010 for Android 2.1 in Xperia X10. :D

Sony Ericsson X10 Without Multitouch Support?

Althought Sony Ericcson has launched Sony Ericsson X10 with Android OS as S preinstalled. But, there is still less with this Sony Ericsson X10. Yup, not support multitouch features on Sony Ericsson X10 makes peoples who’ve bought and will buy disappointed with this Sony Ericsson X10.

Multitouch features is a standard feature in all Android Smartphone, but was not available at this Sony Ericsson X10. Where multitouch has functions such as pinch-to-zoom when you’re browsing, or applications which really need to use multitouch will not be running optimally in this Sony Ericsson X10.

But Sony Ericsson X10 will still be called a top level smartphone that based on Android. However there were already a rumors that Sony Ericsson X10 will immediately update to Android 2.1 as the latest update to Android OS. From here we should just wait the next Android Smartphone to be released by Sony Ericsson.

Sony Ericsson has launched a latest mobile phone with Windows Mobile System Version 6.5.3. The name of the phone is Aspen. This phone has GreenHeart label and support with QWERTY keyboard with non-slide phone format. This phone equipped with some powerfull features like support multimedia feature, like PlayNow and media browser.

This phone maybe like Nokia E71, and like all popular BlackBerry. This phone also support HSPA 900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/900/2100 also EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS, plus Google Maps. Has 3.2 megapixel camera that support 4x digital zoom and some feature like Multishot, Self timer and Smart contrast.

Sony Ericsson Fire Nearly 1500 Employees

This year Sony Ericsson firing thousands of employees again. After last year they had sacked 5000 employees, this year they returned fire 1500 employees.

This is done by Sony Ericsson to control costs, prevent the global economic turmoil is ongoing. Sony Ericsson itself reported increased handset sales, with the number of sales to 14.6 million units this quarter and an increase in the previous quarter as much as 3 percent, in contrast to the increase in competition with the Apple iPhone.

Increased market competition communications equipment is also a factor removal step Sony Ericsson employees, and having to compete with the new star from China, Huawei.
