Third beta version of Firefox 3.1 has been released with some important improvement: JavaScript performance is better with Tracemonkey, features private browsing a more stable, faster rendering and support for web worker threads, JSON, W3C Geolocation API, CSS 3, and more. From Twitter conversations DownloadSquad and testing, it seems the third beta of Firefox is faster than beta 2, although still not equal Safari 4.
