I will show you to installing Blackberry Themes, Live from website a.k.a OTA ( Over The Air ). Many people dont know about this. Iam sorry some kind different Installing From Blackberry 8520 and with my Blackberry Strom aka 9500. But no need worried I’ll where the different about this on tutorial.
Note: This tutorial created for newbie that VIRGIN in Blackberry and Dont know how to installing the themes. As requested in my mail.
This tutorial is created OTA aka Over The Air, not offline installation. If you want offline installation you can use Dekstop Manager. I’ll created tutorial later.
Tool to Trade:
- Blackberry
- Internet connection
- Browser ( default with blackberry browser )
Lets Get Down and Dirty
- First get link your ota, If you dont have any, I suggest you to check our Blackberry Themes. We have 2 OS Themes For Your Blackberry Curve 85xx
or gadget/3-themes-for-your-blackberry-curve-8520.html”>3 themes for your Blackberry Curve 8520.
I recommended to you open that file directly with your Blackberry. - I assumed you already got the OTA link. Now open that link on Blackberry Browser. And you will getting message download or not.
Dont check “Set Applications Permissions” if you dont know what you doing!.
- Now, lets the process begin.
- After complete downloading, there some different with from Strom and other version. Its caused OS version, Like Curve using OS 4.6. Here the Different:
- In Strom
You dont need reboot after downloading OTA, Just need actived and you dont needed rebooting your Blackberry.
Just click Yes - In Curve
You must reboot first and actived theme in Options -> Themes , Maybe its will different if you already upgraded your OS to 5.0. ( maybe :P )
- In Strom
- Done, Your themes was installed
