Freecom introduce one new device based on U.S. standard 3.0. Freecom creates a portable hard drive that provides data transfer rates faster than the standard hard drive with USB 2.0. Hardware Hard Drive XS 3.0, which was released on Thursday (24/09), is one of the devices with the latest USB 3.0 standard, with data transfer speeds 10 times faster than previous versions. USB 3.0 port can be used to plug into a PC or other devices, such as printers and other save devices.
Portable hard drives Freecom Hard Drive XS 3.0 can transfer data 130MB/ses speed, much faster than USB 2.0 which has a transfer speed of 480Mbit/sec. Freecom claim that Hard Drive XS 3.0 can carry 500GB file to a device in just 38 seconds.
