A conflict emerged between vendor antivirus Sophos and Microsoft regarding patch and the management difficulty from XP Mode in Windows 7. Windows 7 XP technology that mode is used to simplify the way regular application in XP to run virtually on Windows 7.
However, the conflict emerged from Richard Jacobs, CTO from Sophos, that said that bargaining from this Microsoft eventually indeed will be compatible with many applications, but not the draught with the security.
By giving the ease path the migration from XP to Windows 7, and through the Vista, Microsoft made the big security disaster, added Jacobs. XP Mode was tool independent from Windows, that could be used to share the long folder and device in the computer with the Windows 7 installation.
