Microsoft has given notice to the user in order to uninstall the old version of Adobe’s Flash and upgrade to the new. Specifically, Microsoft asks the user to remove Flash Player 6.0 as a multimedia player plugin for multi-known to contain bugs. Microsoft initially did not consider products of such third parties, but considering the Adobe Flash Player products come on-bundling with Windows XP, then Microsoft needs to remind the user. Adobe itself does not get security support for Flash Player 6.0 in the year 2006 that packaged with Windows XP.
The weakness is happening in Adobe occurs when the combination of the old version of Flash Player with older versions of Windows that does not speaket with Flash. Adobe Flash Player 6 itself is provided with Windows XP and it has multiple weaknesses that can cause a remote code execution if users view a particular web page. Microsoft recommends users of Windows XP with Adobe Flash Player 6 to update new Flash Player to Adobe Flash 10.0.42.34 because adobe already fix this.
Adobe Flash security weaknesses are considered more serious and priority from Microsoft. For that, Microsoft has released Microsoft Security Bulletin MS10-001 support for all Windows.
