Hotmail POP3 ready for public

Months ago have issue that msn will launch new service that a web-based email from Hotmail will provide POP mail facility, so that the member can take a Hotmail email through the email program like Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird directly to your computer.

Now it’s Hotmail POP3 service is free to be opened. Under this setting Hotmail email program with a local computer to retrieve email from Hotmail.

POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995)
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Windows Live Hotmail or
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25 or 587)
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
