
Recently QuitFacebook.Com site launched and this site aims to invite Facebook users to close their Facebook account on the Day Out Facebook (Facebook Quit May 31, 2010). This site created by Matthew Milan and Joseph Dee.
This Quite Facebook Account action as the impact of policies on Facebok that lately does not care anymore user data privacy. Users who felt had been betrayed by Facebook can commit to exit via Twitter and join with others who are planning to do the same thing simultaneously.
Although this movement has not had many followers, but there are already some famous people in the world of the internet have joined in this movement. For example as is Matt Cutts, Google’s search engine experts. Meanwhile, Danny Sullivan, a writer at Search Engine Land found that the phrase “how do i delete my facebook account” – how to delete my Facebook – become one of the top suggestions in the Google search box.
