
Get ready buddy, Toshiba will kicked off the camcorder world with the release of their new camcorder namely Toshiba Camileo SX900 and SX500.This Camileo SX900 and SX500 camcorder are capable Full HD 1920×1080p video recording at 30fps or 1080i video at 60fps.
Camileo SX900 and SX500 camcorder come with a 9x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom while the SX500 gets a 10 Megapixel images and a 5x optical zoom lens and supports Full HD 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. The Camileo SX900 comes with a fold-out 2.7-inch LCD display for previewing your images and video recordings, there is also a HDMI port which allows the user to connect it to their HDTV.
Other Camileo SX900 Camcorder specification includes a 14-megapixel CMOS sensor, facial recognition focus with support for up to 12 mugs in one frame and supports SDXC memory card format. Also introduced was the lower spec SX500 model, it shoots in the same resolution, however it only gets a 10 megapixel sensor and a 5x optical zoom. There is also electronic image stabilizer, 1cm macro function, ISO up to 1600 for photo and 3 lux or 4 lux for video. They both offer HDMI output and supports SD/SDHC/SDXC up to 64GB.
Toshiba Camileo SX900 and SX500 will be available in July 2010 and the price still not announced.
