New news comes from Nokia which has released a beta version of the application in which support and assist the visually blind people to read the SMS. The application is called Nokia Braille Reader, an application that works for the phone with touchscreen feature, because using the Braille alphabet letters, and require feedback from the hand palpation.
Nokia Braille Reader application was developed by the Finnish Federation Visually Impaired along with the Tampere University. Nokia Braille Reader application is compatible with several Nokia mobile phone products, including smartphones Nokia S60 5th Edition, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5230 and Nokia X6.
Nokia Braille reader application can help people who are blind to provide visually SMS. Nokia Braille reader will catch the received SMS messages and SMS messages are displayed in Braille and feedback palpation. Nokia Braille Reader application drafted together with the users who suffer from eye blind and the researchers.
